| I agree with what most of you've said. I haven't gotten my hands on Utagoe since I combined shipping along with SPD so I wouldn't be getting it until next week... but I've watched most, if not all, of her PVs online and truth be told, I was a tad disappointed at how sloppy production for some PVs felt. I don't know if sloppy's the right word, but it just felt wayyyy different from most of her previous productions. I don't know how the difference in Utagoe and Neverland really works, besides Utagoe being produced by the record label itself (that said, shouldn't production have better budget/quality?!), but personally, I kinda miss her old image. Although the new healthy and motherly image does still appeal but somehow, it just lacks the 'Eriko' element. I remember her as a really energetic individual, which definitely is not really reflected in Utagoe. Perhaps she's doing this whole new image thing, and besides, shes a mother now (with an extremely adorable kid!)! So perhaps I'm just not really used to it? haha. BUT! Still rooting for her no matter what! And will still dry up my entire savings just to support her. |

with regards to those PVS, i do think that it is becos of tight budget under her. Cos u know ever since her marriage n pregnancy, she was under indies work which really dun earn much. And i think she only earns from LIVES. cos singer uses previous income to produce current work.. her previous works dun really earn much i think.. therefore production is more of a budget tight type.
As for her current image compared to her ex-rock/stylish/hip image, i support her own preference as a fan. jus hope that she continues to keep singing! love her solo works! |
